The Ephesian Prayers

Throughout the Bible we find prayers of various men and women of God. Some of these prayers can easily be personalized, so we can pray them for ourselves or others. The prayers Paul wrote in Ephesians 1 and Ephesians 3 are in this category. Below I've modified the text so you can easily personalize the prayers.

    Ephesians 1
I cease not to give thanks for ____, making mention of him/her in my prayers; That You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give him/her the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You: I pray that the eyes of ____'s understanding would be enlightened; that he/she may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of Your power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power, Which You wrought in Christ, when You raised Him from the dead, and set Him at Your own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And You hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.

    Ephesians 3
For this cause I bow my knees unto You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That You would grant ____, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might by Your Holy Spirit in his/her inner man; That Christ may dwell in his/her heart(s) by faith; that ____, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that he/she might be filled with all the fulness of You. Now unto You that are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Praying the Word of God for yourself or others is the best kind of praying. Pray these often, and you will see positive results. I promise!
